SJTPO Releases Report on the Recalibration of the South Jersey Travel Demand Model (SJTDM)

2015 Coordinated Human Service Transportation Plan is Now Available

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The development of the Coordinated Human Service Transportation Plans is a part of a Federal effort to ensure that more effective coordination takes place between public transportation providers to reduce service costs and/or increase service coverage. A plan was conducted for each of the four SJTPO counties and an executive summary for all four. Those plans are available for review here[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SJTPO Releases the Draft FY 2016-2025 TIP for Public Comment, Announces Public Meeting

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SJTPO has released the Draft FY 2016-2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for public comment, now through July 17th. The draft of the Statewide TIP is available for review during this same period.

SJTPO will be holding an open house public meeting to provide opportunity to comment on the Draft FY 2016-2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The meeting will be held at Vineland City Hall.

Public Notice: TIP Amendments Available for Public Comment

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][Posted: 05/14/2015, 2:30pm] Minor TIP Amendments have been recommended for Policy Board action at its upcoming May 26, 2015 meeting by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). Any interested parties may submit comments on the minor amendments, listed below:

DB S1502 – Blackwater Branch Culvert Replacement in Vineland City. The City intends to replace the failing culvert system with a double box culvert. Project cost $650,000, including inspection.

DB S1503 – Fortescue Road (CR 637) over Fortescue Creek Bridge in Downe Township. Rehabilitation of the existing structure including substructure repairs and fender system replacement. Project cost $600,000, including inspection.

DB S1504 – New Jersey Avenue over Oyster Creek Bridge in Downe Township. Rehabilitation of the existing timber bridge structure focusing mostly on substructure repairs. Project cost $600,000, including inspection.

SJTPO must receive written comments by 5pm, Friday May 22, 2015. Written comments may be mailed to SJTPO, 782 S Brewster Road, Unit B-6, Vineland, NJ 08361; faxed to (856) 794-2549; or emailed to info@sjtpo.org. SJTPO’s Tina Arcaro and Robert Clarke Receive 2015 GDL Champion Award

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The GDL Champion Award is presented annually by the New Jersey Teen Safe Driving Coalition to a select group of individuals and/or organizations who work diligently to educate, enforce, and/or advocate for the proven principles of GDL. Ms. Arcaro and Mr. Clarke have shown their passion for teen safe driving through their work with teens in high schools throughout South Jersey and their leadership in developing and deploying the Share the Keys program. The link included in the RFP to confirm eligibility as an ESBE firm was incorrect. An updated link was added to the RFP (page 17). See our RFP page for details

The Scope was changed to include an intersection inadvertently omitted in the original RFP. Please review the Additional Information on our RFP page for the details.
